Question Time...
Do I need to be fit to start?
Not at all. Most people who join our programme have never trained before, are returning to training after a break or are looking for a different approach. We do not throw you into intense workouts. The goal is to start where you are and build gradually. You’ll learn how to pace your training, adjust exercises as needed and build consistency in a way that feels manageable.
Can I do this at home? What equipment do I need?
Yes. The programme includes options to train at home or in the gym. If you’re training at home, you’ll only need dumbbells, a set of resistance bands and a mat. However you should be prepared to invest in heavier weights as you get stronger. Guidance is provided throughout the programme to help you choose appropriate weights as you progress.
How much time will it take each week?
The programme is designed so you can train once or twice per week, with sessions typically taking 45–50 minutes each. If finding time for a full session feels difficult, workouts can be shortened or broken up into smaller “exercise snacks.” We'll guide you through adapting the session lengths.
What if I miss workouts or fall behind?
That’s normal. Building routines is a process of trial and error and it can take time to figure out what works with your schedule and energy. You have access to the programme for 12 weeks. The goal isn't to show up perfectly or not at all. It's to do what you can within the time and build something that works with your actual life, which includes holidays, busy weeks and the occasional curveball. So if you miss a session or you feel like you've fallen behind, simply rock back up when you're ready and pick up where you left off. And if you want a bit of extra support you can upgrade or book a coaching call.
What if I have injuries, pain or a chronic condition?
Many people start strength training while managing injuries or chronic conditions. We have extensive experience helping clients build strength safely within their capacity. If you have persistent or undiagnosed pain, please seek clearance from a doctor or physio before starting. Once you have guidance, you can adapt the programme around their recommendations. If you want support doing this, you can book a coaching call or join the Private programme.
What happens at the end of the programme?
Your access to the workouts and coaching broadcast will come to an end after 12 weeks. We encourage you to download resources and screenshot what you want as you go along, as these will not be available afterwards. You’ll have learned the foundations of strength training, which you can apply to any workout going forward. If you enjoy the programme and want to keep working with us, there will be plenty of opportunities to continue building your strength and routine together. We'll share those options with you in the final weeks
