How To Get Started When...

You Don't Know Where To Start....

No one is expecting you to know what you're doing, have a certain level of fitness, or even know what to wear. Get Started is for anyone new to training, having trouble sticking with a routine or rebuilding after a break. There is no scenario you'll be thrown into an intense workouts you can't keep up with. We start where you are and build gradually. You’ll learn how to pace your training, adjust exercises as needed and build consistency in a way that feels manageable.

You Hate The Gym....

We'll design a plan you can do at home. You can Get Started with or without equipment. As you progress, a small investment in weights and resistance bands will go a long way. We can cross that bridge when you want to, in your initial consultation, at a check in or if you choose to Keep Going

You Can't Commit To 6 Weeks...

This is about building a plan that adapts to the reality of your life. You don't Get Started by waiting for a clear six weeks in the diary, if that's not what your schedule has ever looked like. You start when you decide to work with how you actually live, even if it's not what you'd want it to look like in your ideal world. I've supported women to build their version of routine around work, family life, travel, businesses, illness, caring responsibilities and chronic conditions. There's a version of this that works for you, if you're up for trial and erroring your way through it.

You Struggle To Stick With Anything...

You already know what doesn't work for you, which means you're one step closer to finding what does. Building a routine that suits you takes time to figure out. The goal isn't to show up perfectly or not at all, it's to do what you can with the time you have. If you're worried about 'falling off' or life getting in the way, we can use your consultation to figure out the coaching style that actually gets you back on track. Whether that's a friendly nudge, a change of plan, some tough love or being left alone to rock back up when you're ready.

You have Injuries, Pain or a Chronic Condition...

You'll understandably have reservations. Bring them with you and we'll build a plan around them. I have a history with chronic pain myself and extensive experience helping clients build strength safely within their capacity. If you have undiagnosed pain, an injury or a condition you haven't yet had assessed, please seek clearance from a doctor or physio first. Once you have their guidance, we can create a programme around it that looks after you

You're Low On Energy... 

We'll create something that feels manageable from the start and doesn't push you outside your capacity. You'll learn how to adjust the plan week on week based on how you're actually feeling and how to determine what your version of success looks like.
